30 days in lockdown

It has now been 30 days in either level 3 and level 4 lock-down. 28 Days at level 4.

As a country we have done well, as a household we have struggled. Having 13 month old triplets is tough at the best of times, but without our natural supports it is true madness when trying to “work from home”.

We decided to put holistic well-being first and pull back on any work from home while in level 4. Like so many other families the financial pressures start to build and build. But what else can we do. We pray, look after each other the best we can, and hope to serve our communities and families through the toughest of times, and we know many of these are still in front of us.

We hope to ease the financial burden on families in honouring their recently departed our LifeMarker offering that will allow families to place a beautiful memorial now, without having to spend thousands of dollars.

We have also experienced ourselves a family death during lock down, having to watch funeral services from a far and the absence of family presence. Tough beyond measure.

We have been able to offer a small way for our family to still share memories and thoughts through our cloud based memorials www.lifestone.co.nz/virtual so that we can we allowed take that love and legacy and apply it to our loved ones resting place.

It does not replace tangihanga, but it gives us some way of ensuring the love of our family and our collective thoughts are still there to help our loved one on their next journey.
